IT Review / Audit

As our new customer the first step we ask all clients to undertake is an IT Review / Audit.

This review will document all your IT systems so we can ensure we can support it e.g. we have all all user IDs, passwords, technical info etc.

Out of the IT Review we also provide :

  • A list of IT issues / problems.
  • A list of recommendations

The IT Review can be done during business hours or after hours.

Monthly IT Support and Maintenance

We offer IT maintenance services where we regularly check out your systems.  This often catches issues before they become major problems.  It also ensures are better protected from virus, malware, ransomware etc by keeping your systems up-to-date.

We do most of this work on a Sunday to minimize any impact on your business and so we can reboot PCs, Servers and hardware which may cause an outage.

N.B. after free hours are used per month standard rates apply.  Unused hours expire each month and do not accumulate.

Sub Contractor / Supplier rates – rates we have to on-bill to you and can’t discount

If we do the work ourselves we can often give you cheaper rates.  However often there is work that has to be done by vendor’s service staff or tradies. 

These costs are often MUCH higher than our rates.  We will on-bill these services to you with no margin – just our 10% management fee.

Payment terms and conditions

  • Invoices are issued weekly except by arrangement.
  • Invoices will be issued electronically where possible. Paper invoices will NOT be supplied unless requested
  • All invoices are due within 14 calendar days
  • Payment by EFT is strongly encouraged. Full EFT details are included on each invoice – including for international payments
  • If completion is delayed by factors beyond Solvent Green’s control Solvent Green will issue a progress invoice. This invoice is payable under the standard terms.

 

Work terms and conditions

  • Minimum onsite ‘call out’ is 2 hours or 1 hour plus traveling time and expenses – whichever is the greater.
  • Client assumes full and total responsibility for backup of their data and for virus protection. All work is begun on the assumption the client has a full working backup
  • Solvent Green is only liable for work not carried out to ‘best efforts’ standard / MCSE best practice. Solvent Green cannot be held responsible for other vendor’s software or hardware.
  • The client takes full responsibility for all software and hardware. Any additional time spent due to issues with hardware and/or software is at the client’s expense.
  • The client is assumed to have signed off on all work 14 days after completion of said work unless the client advises it is not satisfactorily completed.
  • Work is deemed complete once agreed written scope / task list has been completed.
  • Any delay caused by failure on the part of the client or primary contractor to action their responsibilities / tasks cannot be given as a reason for delaying payment.
  • Travel time is charged when it is over 15 minutes from the last job
